Impatience.

Last night was some much much needed fun with friends.

After visiting UF last monday I really want to go to college. Heck, I'm already filling out my application for early decision. The essays aren't easy, but my parents are a great help. I'm so ready to be rid of high school, even if it is my senior year. Weirdly enough, I will miss my parents and can see myself calling my mom for advice on friends and boys, and calling my sister for that matter. I just want to speed up time.

What ever happened to just asking "How are you doing?" and really meaning it.

Don't freak out about essays. I went to this meeting thing with an admissions officer and he said that colleges don't really look at your essay. They read it and whatnot just to see if you have passion but that's it because they know how many other people help you edit it and whatnot.

The lady at UF told the tour group the essay responses count for 30% your admission score, 10% SAT scores, and 60% your GPA. And somewhere in there your list of courses your senior year counts. She said she loved reading the essays. So I don't know, better safe then sorry I presume.

Oh okay I guess that's where you're going. The guy I talked to was an admissions officer at Tulane and he was speaking in general for colleges but yeah you're right.
